Bowser and Blue

Award Winning Musical Comedians

About Bowser and Blue

George Bowser and Rick Blue are musical satirists from Montreal. They each used to be in their own rock bands, but joined forces as a duo to sing in pubs, because disco and dance music had pretty much taken over from rock music. They have been performing together since 1978, and have accumulated a lengthy list of credits in almost every medium, including television, radio, theatre and recordings. They performed in Montreal and Toronto pubs between 1978 and 1985, on campus in Canada between 1985 and 1991, on television or in theatres since then. Their comedy and music act is based around song parodies. When they started writing and recording their own songs, they were able to move on to television and theatre. Their Christmas TV special “Two Nuts Roasting On An Open Fire” was nominated for a Gemini. They have now released their twelfth CD titled ‘She Wants Me’.
