John Beuhler’s style has been described as, wickedly funny, fearless and poignant. John’s arsenal of sickly smart comedy is enough to leave any crowd begging for more. He is at ease in front of many different types of audiences, and he is fast becoming one of North America’s favorite comedians.
Born and raised in Vancouver, British Columbia, John Beuhler found his calling early; he could make people laugh. In 1997, at the age of nineteen, John performed stand-up for the first time. The show went better then anyone could have expected, and John was hooked. Beuhler would perform several times per week every week for the next three years.
In his first few years, John starred in a national comedy special, won the Just for Laughs Home Grown Comedy Competition, finished in the finals of the Seattle International Comedy Competition, and shot two more Canadian stand-up specials for Canadian national television. All before the age of 25.
John has performed in the Just for Laughs Festival Gala where he won over the crowd and was touted as saving the show.
John then went on to win the Corner Gas Comedy contest. Giving him $10 000, and an appearance on Corner Gas with his mentor Brent Butt.
John has opened for the likes of Dennis Miller, Brent Butt, Joan Rivers, Martin Short, Zach Galifianakis, and Craig Ferguson to name a few. John's style has been described as, wickedly funny, fearless and poignant.
