“Redefining Wonder” includes borrowed objects, which disappear and re-appear in unusual places; a violin concerto playing as cards mysteriously float out of their deck; visual effects you’d only find in cartoons; and, of course, mysteries for the mind that will keep guests scratching their heads and wanting more. Plus, every performance features Chris Funk’s signature Prediction, which ends off each show in true mind-blowing fashion. ABOUT CHRIS FUNK
Chris Funk has spent the last 15 of his 23 years in magic travelling across Canada and the United States performing a style of magic that can only be defined as “refreshingly different.” Chris has truly mastered the integral elements of each performance and really engages and connects with every audience, while creating standout moments time and time again. Chris has been performing onstage since the age of 7, first as a musician, then as a magician, and now as a brilliant and witty performer known as “The Wonderist.” He combines Intuition, Influence, and Illusion with side-splitting comedy to create moments that baffle and amuse. Chris is also an improv master, allowing him to take advantage of the moments that make every show different from the last.
Chris has left lasting impressions with various television networks and Fortune 500 companies across North America.
Chris Funk was selected over 250 magicians who auditioned in Los Angeles, to appear on the the pilot of Wizard Wars. He was also selected to return and appear on the season premiere of Wizard Wars which aired in 2014. Executive producers of Fool Us hand-picked Chris to perform on Fool Us and they were blown away by Chris’s signature routine including a violin. Chris’s unique style makes him continuously sought after by Production companies and Fortune 500 companies across North America.
